As part of our drive to be a socially responsible business, we have teamed up with Sporting Futures, which aims to help and develop young people through sport.
We recently ran a presentation skills workshop helping attendees on the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust Get On Track project, preparing them for the workplace and also for a “Dragon’s Den” style presentation they have to make before the course ends.
We were struck how enthusiastic they all were, particularly as we asked them to get involved in making some very strange noises as part of a vocal warm up.
At the end of the workshop they all presented a 30 second pitch of themselves, which went down a treat.
On Wednesday March 2nd we hosted the end of course awards night, and it was great to see some of the young people get on stage to answer a few questions and put those presentation skills to the test!
